Ombudspersons of the European branches of Plansee HLW and GTP, Plansee Group Functions and Plansee Holding AG
Dr. David Albrecht and Sophia Hoffmeister confidentially accept reports on legal violations
The European branches of Plansee HLW and GTP, as well as Plansee Group Functions and Plansee Holding AG (‘Company’), are firmly opposed to any form of corruption, other manifestations of white-collar crime and any form of legal violations.
The appointment of external legal ombudspersons has currently been introduced for the companies listed below and is part of their compliance management:
- Plansee Holding AG
- Plansee Group Functions (Germany, Austria, Luxembourg)
- Plansee SE in Reutte with sales offices in Europe: Sales Office Germany, Sales Office UK, Sales Office Italy, Sales Office Nordic
- Plansee Netherlands
- Plansee Composite Materials GmbH
- Plansee Tungsten Alloys, a brand of CIME BOCUZE S.A.S.
- Plansee Powertech AG
- GTP Finland Oy
Tasks of the ombudspersons
The ombudspersons are appointed for the employees of the above-mentioned companies and for business partners if they can provide confidential information about violations of binding legal regulations, the companies' principles of conduct, in particular information about corruption, other economic crimes or other serious violations of the law.
This also applies to reports of personal violations of rights in the professional environment.
Anyone who reports a suspected violation in good faith will therefore not be disadvantaged.
The duties of the ombudspersons are limited to receiving reports of criminal offences, other serious violations of laws or regulations, and serious misconduct in the corporate environment. However, the ombudspersons are not a general complaints office for employees or business partners.
The ombudspersons are also tasked and authorised to provide company employees with information on compliance-related issues if this is to be done in strict confidence.
Contacting the ombudspersons is risk-free for whistleblowers who are still undecided. They can still decide afterwards that the ombudspersons should maintain confidentiality.
The ombudspersons are representatives of Plansee Group Functions Austria GmbH and are therefore never permitted to give legal advice to a whistleblower that is contrary to the interests of this or any other of the aforementioned companies. However, they are instructed to explain to whistleblowers the internal company procedure to be initiated on the basis of their information.
Specially protected contact via the FS-PP BKMS® System
Whistleblowers also have the option of contacting ombudspersons via the FS-PP BKMS® system. The BKMS® system is an Internet-based reporting system that has been tested and used by many large companies and organizations as well as police authorities. It is secured in the best possible way and excludes the traceability of reports. The FS-PP BKMS® system ensures the highest level of security for whistleblowers.
The FS-PP BKMS® system gives whistleblowers the opportunity to set up a protected mailbox through which they can communicate securely with the ombudsperson without having to reveal their identity. Messages in the FS-PP BKMS® system are not traceable.
