Dr. Rainer Frank and Dr. Leonie Lo Re confidentially accept reports on legal violations
The European sites of Plansee HPM and GTP as well as Plansee Group Service GmbH, Matmatch GmbH and Plansee Holding AG ("Companies") resolutely oppose any form of corruption, other manifestations of white-collar crime and any form of violation of the law. The appointment of the external legal ombudspersons applies to the Companies listed below and is part of their compliance management:

Tasks of the ombudspersons
The ombudspersons are appointed for the employees of the aforementioned Companies and for business partners if they can provide information by confidential means on violations of binding legal regulations, the Companies' codes of conduct, in particular information on corruption, other economic criminal acts or on other serious violations of the law.
This also applies to information about personal rights violations in the professional environment.
Anyone who gives a good faith indication of a suspicious situation will not suffer any disadvantage.
The scope of duties of the ombudspersons is limited to receiving reports of criminal offenses, other serious violations of law or regulations, and serious misconduct in the corporate environment. However, the ombudspersons are not a general complaints office for employees or business partners.
The ombudspersons are also mandated and authorized to provide information to company employees on compliance-related issues, if this is to be done while maintaining special confidentiality.

A special email address and telephone line have been activated for persons who would like to contact Dr. Frank or Dr. Lo Re as attorneys of trust. You will find these at the bottom of this page. An answering machine will take messages outside of the attorney's office hours. The ombudspersons will then get back to you immediately.
Reports may also be transmitted at any time via the FS-PP BKMS® system.

Only if a whistleblower expressly permits it will the information be passed on, and in principle to the Compliance Committee responsible for the company in question. If a whistleblower so requests, his or her name will not be mentioned, but the matter will be reported anonymously.
In due course, whistleblowers receive feedback on how their input has been assessed and what action has been taken on it.
Contacting the ombudspersons is risk-free for a whistleblower who is still undecided. He/she can still decide afterwards that the ombudspersons should maintain silence.
The ombudspersons are agents of Plansee Group Service GmbH and may therefore never give legal advice to a whistleblower that is contrary to the interests of this or any other of the aforementioned Companies. However, they are instructed to explain to whistleblowers the internal company procedure to be initiated in response to their information.
Particularly protected contact via the FS-PP BKMS® System
Whistleblowers also have the option of contacting ombudspersons via the FS-PP BKMS® system. The BKMS® system is an Internet-based reporting system that has been tested and used by many large companies and organizations as well as police authorities. It is secured in the best possible way and excludes the traceability of reports. The FS-PP BKMS® system ensures the highest level of security for whistleblowers.
The FS-PP BKMS® system gives whistleblowers the opportunity to set up a protected mailbox through which they can communicate securely with the ombudsperson without having to reveal their identity. Messages in the FS-PP BKMS® system are not traceable.
